I used to be able to leave this part blank.

I have many interests.

Posts are dated and time stamped when I am not in my original time zone.

If I had a dime for every time I received a compliment and then had it taken back, I'd travel around the world on it.

I spent last weekend wandering the streets of Melbourne with my friend, Lisa. Having not seen her in over 3 months, it was so wonderful to catch up. With the weather sunny and clear, we walked until we could walk no more and most importantly, ate our way through the city.

I managed to get us on the wrong mode of transportation and instead of St. Kilda, we ended up wandering South Yarra. What do you do when you end up in the wrong place on a Saturday morning? You have breakfast.

A bit of backtracking and a stop at an information booth had us on the right track to St. Kilda.

Pavlova. We decided it was finally time we tried this Australian dessert. Verdict? eh.

Lisa and I come from families where we are the oldest of 3 girls, so we had to stop and take photos.

Full of beautiful architecture, there’s so much to see in Melbourne. A shot of Flinders Station from Federation Square.

While Lisa and I won’t be seeing each other in the near future, Melbourne and I will hopefully run into each other again later this month. In the meantime, at least Lisa and I have Skype.

I’ve got an itch to travel. Must. Scratch.

I can always count on a fun runway show from Anna Sui and her Spring 2012 Ready To Wear show did not disappoint. With a very sleek and bold color palette to bring out the early 70’s in all of us- even if we weren’t alive then, Anna Sui brings us vintage reinvented.

Due to my strange fascination with luggage and my desire to own every piece even though I have no actual home to store it in, a few runway shots from this show had me more than excited.

Do you see those pieces of heaven on wheels?

Set to make an appearance in March, Anna Sui for Tumi is just too fun to pass up. I figure since I have suitcases not drawers, this would really be an investment. Not a splurge.

I love butterflies :)

Also, here’s my favorite look from the collection…
