“Stranger” Jhené Aiko
I’m finding this song on the haunting side. Perhaps because she questions whether or not she’s met someone who she just seems to know.
Maybe it’s because the video is purposefully blurry - cinematography people, help me out if you know this term.
I also really like her top. I’m going to hunt for a similar top so that come summer time in the southern hemisphere (you’d be foolish to wear something like that now on the beach) I will have it to frolic around in the sand.

What is it about that music video that I like so much?
Is it the football shots?
Is it Grimes is living out my childhood dream of dancing and singing around sporting events- not on stage, just running through stands. Think of the freedom. Literally dancing around to her own song and because of the headphones, in her own world really. I admit I did similar things as a young child whenever my Mom would take me shopping at department stores I didn’t care for. Walkman in hand. The CD Player came a year or two later. I still remember the stares I got, mostly from adults. Way to crush a kid’s day, adults.
Or maybe I just really enjoy the song. Which I do.
