Blue Mountains

Tonight, I saw the movie A Few Best Men.

How was it? It was what you’d expect any comedy to be these days. Drugs. Accidental shootings. Farm animals. Scary father-in-laws. Traveling to far away lands. Thanks to the Event Cinemas emails I get occasionally, I only paid $11 to see this one. A freakin’ bargain when it comes to Australian movie theaters.

Let’s focus for a second on traveling to far away lands.

The majority of the film is set in Australia. New South Wales to be exact. The Blue Mountains to be even more specific.

The scenery of the film was truly breathtaking. In a country where the majority of the films focus on its iconic beaches, it was a nice change. A chance to show that this massive island has so many different types of terrain.

I think I’m going to need to take a trip up there soon.

Oh, and here’s the trailer if you’re still interested in the film:
