I had the amazing opportunity to go to the Stevie Nicks and Dave Stewart concert last night at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.
A few things:
1. Backstage passes are very cool.
2. Brian McFadden said he forgot the words to the song he was singing when I walked into the arena. I have no idea if this was part of the show.
3. Met Amy Keys. She is a vocal goddess and such a sweet person. It was very nice to hear another American accent.
4. Met Dave Stewart. He wore a bomb ass khaki colored suit and top hat. I did feel a lot of stress though for the guitar tech throughout the concert.
5. Met Lucky Oceans.
6. The drummer from The Panics is fan-freaking-tastic. Sure, I’ve liked The Panics since I started listening to them, but to see that drummer play live- I am very impressed.
7. Django Stewart is very fun to watch perform.
8. FANTINE sounded amazing.
9. In an attempt to fit into the Stevie Nicks crowd, I wore a very long flowing black cardigan that my Mom purchased for me.
10. I left after the song Stevie Nicks wrote after she watched Twilight.
Good times.
